The History of M&H Stables
M&H began in 1986 strictly by accident.
H,
Joyce Holland) had two horses for her own riding pleasure, and
M,
(Rick Morrell) her pastor from church asked her if he bought a horse,
could he keep it on her property. She thought he was just kidding and
said yes.
The rest is history. M&H has grown from two horses to the 13 it now
uses for trail rides and western riding lessons. In July of 1997 M&H
Stables moved from it�s original location at 240 14th Ave NE. To it�s
present location at 2750 Newman Dr. In this location, there are two
businesses being run. M&H Stables which offers Trail Rides Western
Riding Lessons, Summer Horse Camp Birthday Parties, and Wagon Rides
through the Everglades. Everglades Ranch owned by Lynn Switzer who
operates the boarding facility. Together we operate a full service
equestrian center for your horse pleasure
M&H is a Christian owned
and operated facility that is on Sunday. Rick Morrell is an ordained Baptist
Minister who pastors Estates Baptist Church, and Joyce Holland is the Pre School
Coordinator of the Same Church. Many of our employees also attend Estates Baptist Church.
For this reason we are closed on Sundays to be able to worship. Our facilities remain open
for all boarders 24 hours a day, seven days a week. |
